"Dear Diary,
Done the usual cleaning & settin' around. Est & Ruthie went to Christy & Edith's place to babysit. Dad went to set up at Joe Yoders. The boys went to Mann's so I went over too. About 10 Alvin, W.B. & Harvey S. come. We played cards till 3:30 AM. Then I couldn't sleep when I got to bed!"
