"Dear Diary,
Today Mom & Dad went to the dentist. Clara Sue & I worked at the housework & I got a big dinner as home project - good luck. Tonite Boob's & kids came. Boob's wanted to play Rook. Fred Yoder & a bunch of alkies drove thru the yard. Ruth Ann & Al, ______ H. & Evelyn Yoder & Loyd Y. & Jr. Miller (driver) come & I had Loyd. We went to Pete's & played Dirty 2, Donkey, & 7-Up."
