"Dear Diary,
This morning Rays dropped Est & Clara Sue & I off at Petes. We were there till 6:30. Had a lot of fun. Hershberger was also there. Truman was supposed to pick me up tonite but he never showed up. Darn! He'd better have a pretty good excuse. Lizabeth and Alvin stopped in tonight & Alvin wanted me to go to the singin with him & course I didn't go. So he asked me for in two weeks...last night. Good night."
