"Dear Diary,
Today we sure didn't do much. Us girls didn't have school. Mary Lou & Vern were here for dinner then we all went to Josies to watch the inauguration. Tonite we went to Dans for supper. Of course Marvin Schlabach was there! Walked down & back. 10 degrees above zero."
