"Dear Diary,
Went to church with Marv. (Council meeting) Ruth Ann was there. She got glass frame like mine. After church we went to Marv's place & read comics & ate supper. Vern's were there too. Then we went to ice cream supper at Levi & Mary's. Waited on Est then she come home with Vern B. Marv stayed til 1:00. I cried when he left. There's something bothering him. I don't know what."
