"Dear Diary,
Dad, Est, Mern & I went to Pete's to pick raspberries. Dad helped Pete ring pigs. We ended up staying for dinner. After the dishes Pete & the kids & us all come home & canned beans & raspberries while Dad & Pete rung more pigs. I miss Marv."
