"Dear Diary,
Had a ball today. We went to Pete's & Levi & Mary were there. Laughed our insides out. Mary Lou, Lulu & Ruth & Sue's baby come & we made them go get Vern & Levi for supper. Had ice cream. They went home pretty early. I went to bed early."
