Back to Jackson's - worked 'til 6:30 then Ellen & I took a load to the new place. Come back & watched TV on the floor. No furniture. Got 10 bucks. Letter from R.A."

Est went to work again. I done up the work & was ready to finish up the eggs when Ellen Jackson come to get me. Worked for her all aft. Marion helped after work. Watched TV 'til 10:30. Marv was there too."

Est, Marv & I went to church at Bill Bontrager's. Had fun after church. Went to Schlabach's Nottawa, Pete's, & home. Marv acted so silly but was better than he has been lately. Tuffy's were here when we got here so we went upstairs & talked & slept."

Done Sat. work. Est came home about 6:30. Josie & Bill were here with their new baby. Waited for Marv 'til 9+. Had given him up. He stayed here."

"Dear Diary,
Just had dishes done this morning when Louetta Schrader come to take me to work. (unexpected) Went to George Squire's & cleaned. Sorta fun. $1.00 an hour. Waited for Joe & Lydia tonite to come play monopoly but they never showed up. Had ice cream."

Lazy Mon. All we got done was wash eggs. Mom washed. I wrote to R.A. Got a letter from Marv that I was s'posed to get last week."

Couldn't sleep this morning. Got up & got ready to go to Ezra & Pauline G's with Amos B & Sam, & Bessie. Sort of a dull day. Stopped in LaGrange for malts on way home. Sat here at home the rest of the nite. Argued quite a lot but I feel better than I did. (know more)"

Mom & Dad started out for Levi's this morning but ended up at Daughty's & Boob's. Est went to Shirley Carlin's to babysit. I washed eggs & ironed. Josie & Bill were here. They may get a baby now."

Made Mom a cap this forenoon. This aft. Est, Mom, Baby & I went to school for Valentine party. Mrs. Shrader picked us up. Est went home with Bobbie Collins 'til 7."

Didn't get much done today. Pa & Est went to Nottawa to see Big Jo - take her to town tonite. I slept this aft. Sent Marv a Valentine. I'm so miserable all day. Can't get him out of my mind. Bill's were here for pizza supper tonite."

Got up around 8. Sat & talked with Mom & Est 'til about 10. Got breakfast dishes done about 12. After dinner I washed wood work & wrote to R.A. Guess that's all. Mom washed this aft."

Got up at 6. Combed, ate breakfast, dishes, & got ready for church. After church dinner we went over to Vain Yoder's. Scared Sam on the way home. Had a singin' & supper at Ray's. Started home at 10. Got home at 12. Bessie & I decided we didn't like Hicksville & of course the boys did."

Done usual Sat. work. Found out Vern & Mary Lou have baby girl. At 6:30 Marv & I & Sam, Bessie, Alvin W., & Harvey went to Leroy's. Got there at 9:30. Played rook 'til 11:30. Had fun."
