"Dear Diary,
This morn us & Pete's girls went to Sam E's. to help get ready for Wedding. I mopped their kitchen & helped with other stuff. Est stayed all nite. We come home & Dad took us all to Nottawa then to Pete's. Al was there which surprised Ruth Ann. I stayed at Pete's all nite. Didn't get to sleep till about 12:00 or 1 o'clock."

Today was dress up day. Had a Geometry test. Tonite I done Clara's Saturday's work then they brought me home. Pete's girls come over all nite tonite.

Tonite I stayed in Centreville with Nancy W. She had her hair cut & I bought tennis shoes. Shirley Ash come home with us all nite. Jo4., Nancy W, Jim W, Sharon Toviles & Dick K. come over for a ball game tonite & I took them all for a buggy ride. Pete's girls came over & we had a good ball game. Hank & Clara Sue were here later. Ruth Ann stayed all nite. Had a Geometry test today."
